CALL FOR PAPERS

Conference Theme:

Striving for Performance Excellence with Quality Management and IEM practices

In today’s dynamic world, a fundamental principle for leading and operating an organisation is striving for continuous performance improvement over the long term and focusing on customers while addressing the needs of all stakeholders. The bottom line of continuous performance improvement is results-oriented:  increased productivity, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and performance. These principles constitute the core of Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) that can bring strengths and opportunities to organisations of diverse nature.

The conference provides a forum for academics, researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas and to facilitate a region-wide awareness of IEM competence and the use of various IEM concepts, models and tools that support companies and organisations to become more successful in the emerging CARICOM context. IEM4-2018 invites papers for presentation, and suggested topics of interests fall into two groups of 1) Traditional Industrial Engineering areas and 2) with Quality Management (QM) focus.
